Qualifications
  • Master's/Bachelor's degree in IT or engineering
  • 8 - 12 years of experience in the field of IT, consulting and/or business intelligence
  • Experience in leading teams,Implementation ,technology operations,business process design and improvement experience is desired
  • Project Management experience and certifications(PMP,Prince2) are preferred
  • Proven track record in managing implementation and/or solution deployment program
  • Experience working with large databases, manipulation of data sets and using and building data visualization tools
  • Experienced in overseeing the work of one/multiple projects and tracking the projects' key performance indicators (e.g. budgets, progress against time-lines, team health)
  • Adept at managing key stakeholders (Client & Internal) and able to drive initiatives
  • Entrepreneurial and collaborative nature

Who You'll Work With You'll work with our Healthcare Analytics & Delivery (HA&D) team and will be based in New York. Healthcare Analytics & Delivery is part of McKinsey Solutions and McKinsey's New Ventures.

The Healthcare Analytics & Delivery team uses healthcare data (payer / provider / 3rd party data) and analytics to answer some of the most pressing questions our healthcare clients have today such as “How do we manage cost of care while improving quality?”, “How do we remain competitive in the evolving healthcare landscape?”, “Who are the most vulnerable patients and what interventions can we design to better care for them?”.

Our capabilities are foundational to multiple high profile initiatives and have been core to the Healthcare practice in delivering organization wide transformation programs for payors (public and private) or providers. What You'll Do You will deliver top notch, subscription based analytic services to some of our most important clients, working hand-in-and with our Episodes of Care, Population Health, and Healthcare Data Management domains.

These services range from static healthcare performance reports used to enhance physician performance to web-accessible dynamic reports. You will be a part of the team that produce the analytics using our proprietary big data and analytic platform; you will be trained on this platform and it will become a core element in your toolkit.

We are a team that is very entrepreneurial; as such, we are looking for someone with the desire to constantly make things better, which can include working with the product team to innovate on the end-to-end solution delivery chain, injecting QA tools and processes, increasing automation, and recommending product enhancements.

To achieve the delivery of our assets, you will lead a team of solution delivery analysts. You will be overall accountable for the quality and timeliness of their outputs, as well as managing their daily progress and contributing to their professional development. Additionally, we expect you to contribute to the overall strategy of the solution delivery team, such as team expansion strategy and quality assurance strategy. The solution delivery manager will collaborate on a daily basis with the incredibly fun and talented product, technology, and healthcare experts that we have on the team.

You will be accountable for the client engagements for which these solutions are delivered. This will require skills in project management and client communication. Over time,your role will grow as you manage multiple client deliveries, become involved in the upfront scoping of projects, and participate in problem solving sessions with clients and consultants.

You'll collaborate closely with internal stakeholders in the Solution, Client Service and Product teams to standardize and scale solution offerings and delivery models and you'll define and enforce delivery readiness criteria. You'll also oversee acceptance testing, and focus on standardizing and documenting our service delivery processes. You'll be driving continuous improvement initiatives to increase the efficiency of solution and service delivery and you'll advocate for client service delivery enabling features and functions on product road maps.
