Overview:
Our Human Resources & Compensation Consulting Business Line (HRCC) is the “human capital management” consulting arm of the Gallagher business. Clients around the world trust us to proactively share knowledge and bring innovative, impactful, and – most importantly practical solutions to address their needs and reduce their risk across the entire people and organizational spectrum. Our People Data & Insights Practice, part of HRCC, empowers our clients’ business decisions with industry-leading employee and employer market data, expertise and research. The team uses primary research and analytics to identify workplace trends and people insights. They are experts in quantitative and qualitative design and research, data science/analytics, and storytelling. And they provide benchmarking capabilities in employee engagement and all facets of the workplace experience, compensation, and benefits.
How you'll make an impact:
Data and Insights is responsible for the successful growth, performance and profitability of our Research & Insight Practice. They will be accountable for creating a platform that puts the right people insights into the right hands, at the right time, throughout our clients’ businesses. Including:
Leading a passionate team of experts that deliver amazing results for our clients through custom workforce assessments.
Providing people answers to our clients, on demand, through asking the right questions using pre-built questions and analytics based on real-world practice.
Simplifying and automating the most time-consuming parts of the people analytics process using built-in data management capabilities for our clients
Bringing together people data and business data into a single system to reveal powerful people-powered insights.
Comparing performance to benchmarks and 3rd-party data.
Developing world-class, leading-edge capabilities in Conjoint Analysis and Workforce Planning (buy, or build)
Overall accountability for Practice revenue growth, margin achievement and people management.
Provide leadership by driving consistent messaging and collaboration across the existing Practice functions.
Responsible for overall strategy, results and coordination of the marketing and sales activities associated with existing and potential Practice clients.
Ensure monthly, quarterly, and annual financial goals are met or exceeded.
Identify ways to enhance the market value of our data and analytics and create new revenue streams/services.
Provide guidance, coaching, mentoring and direction to team members in order to maximize capability and resource to existing and potential clients and drive new and recurring revenue growth.
Provide expertise – internally and externally – regarding industry trends.
Establish benchmarks/best practices against which to evaluate client needs.
Provide thought leadership and identify opportunities and solutions that will facilitate organic growth.
Identify opportunities to cross-sell; build executable and sustainable cross-selling strategies, both in HRCC and across GBS.
Formalize practice area communications and serve as national spokesperson for the practice.
Provide clear, hands-on leadership and foster a “growth culture” consistent with the organization’s business goals.
Assist in M&A due diligence and integration as required.
About you:
10+ years or relevant experience, including Practice leadership experience, P&L management and financial acumen.
Bachelor’s degree: Masters preferred.
Highly growth oriented with demonstrated success in expanding/creating new revenue streams from existing or new service offerings.
Experience creating a compelling vision and rallying a team of senior practitioners around change and future opportunity.
Solid understanding of data (data science) and analytics, surveys and research.
Experience working in a large; matrixed organization.
Skill at building relationships and collaborating with multi-level internal colleagues across service/business lines and functions.
Demonstrated successful professional services sales and marketing experience.
Experience driving delivery efficiency using offshore resources to support onshore teams.
Outstanding client relationship management skills including the ability to communicate, collaborate and influence.
