Role Overview
We are looking for an Algorithm Engineer specializing in computer vision and generative AI to advance the capabilities of the company’s design software. This role focuses on developing and refining computer vision algorithms to support 3D modeling and data automation. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in computer vision, experience with generative models, and a passion for applying AI to construction engineering.
Key Responsibilities
Algorithm Development: Design and implement state-of-the-art computer vision algorithms for structural analysis and 3D modeling.
Research & Innovation: Develop models like GANs, VAEs, and diffusion models, and explore synthetic data applications to enhance generative design capabilities.
Collaborative Implementation: Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate and optimize algorithms, maintaining product quality and performance.
Thought Leadership: Publish findings in leading journals (e.g., CVPR, ICCV), contribute to the CV community, and help shape the future of AI in construction.
Qualifications
Education: Ph.D. in Computer Vision, Machine Learning, or a related field preferred (1-2 years of experience); master’s candidates with 3-5 years of relevant experience will also be considered.
Experience: Proven background in computer vision projects, ideally with publications in conferences or journals.
Skills: Expertise in GANs, VAEs, 3D vision, synthetic data, and automated data annotation.
Mindset: Detail-oriented, solution-driven, and passionate about the construction industry; experience in startups is a plus.
