Full job description Data Scientist The Data Scientist will be a member of the centralized analytics function at the bank and support the quantitative modeling & data science initiatives of the bank. This role will be responsible for executing towards advanced analytics processes for the bank. They will be responsible for data mining, quantitative model development and machine learning initiatives that help provide key insights and create efficiencies. This role will be a contributor in helping drive business outcomes through use of big data & advanced modeling capabilities. Key Responsibilities and Duties Identifies modeling and Machine Learning needs within the data strategy and communicate to the analytics team leadership as well as the IT/data teams. Develops models and algorithms in support of predictive and insight needs across the organization. Leverages advanced predictive modeling and machine learning techniques to drive value out of structured & unstructured data sets. Provides modeling for consumer behavior, complaints themes, deposit pricing/elasticity and support marketing objectives through classification techniques. Partners with deposit business, operations and marketing to identify gaps and needs that can be solved through automation & advanced analytics capabilities. Executes processes to monitor model performance and adhere to strong model governance practices in line with MRM policy and procedures. Prepares and presents data insights & key modeling output to senior leadership and business heads through visualization tools such as Tableau and Power. Educational Requirements University (Degree) Preferred Work Experience 3+ Years Required; 5+ Years Preferred Physical Requirements Physical Requirements: Sedentary Work Career Level 7IC Requirements: Preferred Qualifications: 3+ years of recent experience modeling and identifying machine learning needs.
