Job Title: Principal Data Science (multiple openings) Job Location: Riverwoods, IL Job Type: Full Time Duties: Provide thought leadership & strategic thinking to translate business problem into analytical framework(s), and independently recommend actions and provide business insights. Operate as a subject matter expert on statistical analysis, test and design of experiment, analysis methodology, modeling & application, and financial impact analysis. Requirements: Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Engineering (any), Statistics, Mathematics, Finance or in a related field and 6 years of experience in the job offered or in a Data Science Analyst-related occupation. Alternatively, Employer will accept a Master's degree in Analytics, Engineering (any), Statistics, Mathematics, Finance or in a related field and 4 years of experience in the job offered or in a Data Science Analyst-related occupation. Position required skills: Six (6) years of experience in the following with a Bachelor’s degree, OR Four (4) years of experience in the following with a Master’s degree: Perform statistical analysis, test and design of experiment, analysis methodology, modeling and application, and financial impact analysis using SAS, SQL and Statistical techniques; Lead the development and implementation of advanced analytics including customer segmentation, optimization, prescriptive analytics and machine learning algorithm leveraging SAS, SQL and Statistical techniques; Analyze marketing channel performance, establish KPI’s for program performance and eliminate friction points between customers and products using Excel; Use Tableau visualization to present storylines around test performance, build P&L statements for specific offers based on portfolio segment performance using Tableau and Excel; Deliver presentations of findings and recommendations to leadership, creating visual displays of quantitative information by creating slides in MS PowerPoint. Position eligible for incentives under Employee Referral Program Rate of Pay: The base pay for this position generally ranges between $131,498.00 to $177,300.00. Additional incentives may be provided as part of a market competitive total compensation package.
