Description We are seeking a Senior Data Scientist with hands-on experience solving problems in digital agriculture. What You'll Do: Interprets internal/external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes or services Uses sophisticated analytical thought to exercise judgement and identify innovative solutions Communicates difficult concepts and negotiates with others to adopt a different point of view Proactively promotes the exchange of ideas, information and feedback Qualifications Technical Skills: Experience independently solving business problems with technically sound approaches Experience blending geospatial and tabular data with varying degrees and quality and completeness, making informed trade-offs to reach a value-creating conclusion. Experience in using Python for machine learning, statistics, and analysis Ph.D. or M.S. in Data Science, Computer Science, Physics, Engineering, Operations Research, or related scientific discipline. Essential Skills: Growth mindset with an interest in developing and maturing skills in machine learning, statistics, coding, project management, and communication. Ability to work in a matrixed, collaborative environment by using clear and direct asynchronous and synchronous communications. Intellectual creativity to solve problems using new approaches and techniques. Salary Range The salary range for this position is $107,000 - $134,000 yearly. This reflects a reasonable estimate of the targeted base salary for this role. This role is also eligible for an annual bonus. Based on factors such as geographic location and candidate qualifications, actual base pay is determined when an employment offer is made.
