Job Title Technology Solutions Development Engineer Job Description You will be part of an established team committed to innovation and contribution, trust and respect, teamwork, and uncompromising integrity. The candidate will be a contributor on a multi-discipline product engineering team that develops, verifies, and validates solutions based on 3rd-party products for monthly releases across the patient monitoring portfolio and beyond. Track new product functionality, maintain, and enhance testing infrastructure, integrating new tools and technologies in a continuously evolving environment. Your role: Responsible for reviewing product specifications/requirements and designs from a test point of view and providing feedback to the relevant designer/customer Designing, executing, and archiving test concepts & test cases, report deviations from expected results and test progress to the Test Lead and/or the designated Test Coordinator Ensure compliance of test documentation with QMS and regulatory requirements; Generate and review of Design Verification Plans Review of Requirements, Specification, and Design documents for testability; Create feature test concepts with support of cross functional team members Lead technical discussions with a focus on cross-functional buy-in and results and interact productively with internal stakeholders as well as suppliers You're the right fit if: You have a bachelor’s degree in electrical or biomedical or mechanical Engineering, scientific or related business discipline, or relevant equivalent education and experience. You’ve acquired 2+ years of Quality Testing experience in a corporate environment. Healthcare and/or Medical Device (patient monitoring systems) preferred. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional, cross-discipline environment and capability to troubleshoot and triage issues. Your skills include solid familiarity with operations of Windows OS and BIOS; Experience with PC based hardware, video displays, peripherals and working with OEM add on solutions. Strong technical writing skills and experience working within the guidelines of a Quality Management System within a highly regulated healthcare technology environment. You’re able to develop testing strategies and develop technical documents including design and verification documentation.
