Job Summary
As a Data Analyst, you will be working closely with leadership to collect requirements, design reports, and present data to ensure our stakeholders make the best business decisions. You will also maintain and troubleshoot published solutions, and work to continuously improve the team by finding opportunities to improve our data pipelines.
What We Do
Design dashboards for multiple service lines based on the constantly evolving needs of a fast paced business
Find and ingest data sources
Craft a manage a growing data warehouse
Develop front-ends for data entry
Develop new features for existing solutions
Modernize our legacy solutions to adapt to our growing account
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Build and maintain dashboards, reports and data entry tools
Work closely with stakeholders across multiple service lines to collect requirements
Automate data ingestion for new data sources
Identify and troubleshoot data integration and integrity issues in collaboration with the appropriate CBRE business units
Exhibit analytical difficulty, judgment, and ability to communicate a comprehensive 'data story' to multiple levels of the organization.

Develop data structures and pipelines to coordinate, collect, cleanse, and standardize data in order to generate insights and address reporting needs.
See opportunities to improve data usage, applying modeling and optimization methods to develop new strategies and improve business performance.
Run ad-hoc queries as needed

Qualifications

Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in computer science, math, engineering or related field. Typically has 3 years of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience in the following.
Technical Skills
Experience developing dashboards and telling stories through data using data visualization software
Outstanding skills with Excel, SQL, and manual data analysis
Experienced with visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, etc.
Ability to understand and evaluate solutions built from more sophisticated tools such as R and Python
Experienced with either hands-on or applied advanced statistical methods and model development
Communication Skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to deliver efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret documents. Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations. Requires intermediate analytical and quantitative skills. Strong analytical skills.
Scope of Responsibility
Decisions made with understanding of procedures and company policies to achieve set results and deadlines. Responsible for setting own project deadlines. Errors in judgment may cause short-term impact to co-workers and supervisor.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the position is $80,000.00 annually [or $38.46 per hour] and the maximum salary for the position is $100,000 annually [or $48.07 per hour]. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program.
