Full-time Full Job Description Position Summary Samsung Electronics America New York City Metropolitan Area (Hybrid) The Service Partnership Group (SPG) is looking for a Senior Data Analyst to empower the various teams with analytics and insights to enable them to make data driven decisions. The SDA handles all partnerships and revenues associated with the ecosystem of OTT content service providers, content licensing partners, and product partners on the Samsung Smart TV platform, various app and gaming partners on the mobile platform, and partners on Samsung’s own TV Plus offering. The Senior Data Analyst will leverage Samsung’s data on its various platforms to understand partner and product feature performance and further the team’s mission to drive success for our partners and strengthen our negotiation position during deal processes. Furthermore, the SDA will be a pro-active thought leader in discovering opportunities from our data, identifying areas of improvement for our business and providing best practices in data analytics and visualization. The position will work closely with all levels of our group and potentially external partners too. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, analytical, and solutions-focused with the ability to unravel internal complexity/ambiguity, navigate the organization, and come to a quick understanding of the business and the relevant data. Role and Responsibilities Become an expert on the data available to Samsung and how to interpret it Generate data visualizations to support our business operations Empower the various teams within the group in their partnership deal and management processes with data driven insights.
