This role consists of the investigation, evaluation, recommendation and support of information systems designed to cost-effectively provide computer based solutions to business problems and to prepare for future requirements. It also includes preparation of flowcharts, diagrams and specifications and co-ordination between programmers and users. This role is also responsible for designing, developing and introducing solutions that utilize industry best practices to meet business demands. This person will be actively participating with the platforms and applications teams to build a know-how understanding of integrations and how they impact the IS landscape. While participating in the delivery of services to the business for application support and enhancement. Your responsibilities Participate in the execution of IS service delivery in the Marketing & Sales domain. By defining and coordinating the delivery of new development or enhancements to solutions to improve quality of service for the business. Engage in incident management and resolution, providing input and technical expertise related to the subject solution. While tracking service delivery metrics and projecting major impacts to solution landscapes. Review framework, platform and tech stack for new and existing solutions during implementation planning process. Support the effort estimation process while conducting technical reviews and validations of proposed solutions. Maintain technical documentation to include the solution architecture and infrastructure for all applications within the M&S domain. Collaborate with other IS teams in the improvement of the IT solution delivery process. Your background Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or related field and a minimum 5 to 8 years of experience in related field, a plus in a software development role. Candidate must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi ABB Power Grids in the United States. Good oral and written English communication skills.
