The Azure Lab Services team delivers a fast growing, Azure service that helps drive enterprises and education institutes to move to the cloud by providing a streamlined, self-service, and cost optimized solution. We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to help us take the next step in our evolution by delivering a standalone SaaS service that delivers high quality cloud workstations to developers, knowledge workers, and students on-demand.

Participate in the definition of key scenarios, use cases, and end-user experiences
Design, implement and refine chosen solutions in close partnership with Product Management and partner teams.
Identify hard problems, evaluate the pros/cons of practical solutions, and drive decision making.

Diagnose and correct service and applicationissues
2+ years of overall software developement/engineering experience
1+ years of experience developing commercial software
Software design, coding and debugging experience
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related technical field or professional software development experience
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to, the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check. This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
