Basic support for IT services, such as Windows Server/application technologies assistance. This is an entry level IT support position, in which IT support tasks can be taught while on the job. Assist with day-to-day IT support functions and maintenance activities. Other technology support areas include server OS, various core software applications assistance services and physical device hardware or software maintenance.
Assist escalated end users with Windows Server hardware or software problems.
Load or remove core and non-core software applications.
Moves, adds, and changes to Windows Server hardware and peripherals.
Perform project or maintenance tasks under the direction of management or upper level engineers.
Basic asset control and tracking services.
Lead/Assist Windows server hardware and OS upgrades
Knowledge / Experience:
A basic knowledge and understanding of Windows Server and problem resolution procedures is preferred.
Windows server software experience or certifications will provide additional consideration.
Any help desk or customer contact skills will also provide additional consideration.
Experience with automation (PowerShell/Chef)
Professionalism skills and good work ethics are required.
Customer support and communications skills are preferred.
Ability to follow documented processes and procedures with minimal supervision
