GCP is growing, both in terms of first-party services, customers, and partners. Other businesses in Google are beginning the shift towards using Cloud Billing for business generation as well. This brings all sorts of new use cases, as these businesses have different billing models and bring their own legal and finance requirements. With your technical expertise you will manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables. You will design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance software solutions. Responsibilities Understand the current, complex state of pricing and discounting. Work with partner teams to understand their use cases. Design and implement data models and infrastructure to allow us to operate smoothly at scale. Mentor and train other team members on design techniques and coding standards. Collaborate regularly with Engineers and Product Managers within other portions of Cloud Billing (e.g., Cost Management, Subscriptions, etc.), GCP Service teams, and teams from other cloud businesses (e.g., Google Workspace, Maps, etc.).
