Job Summary Practice Fusion is currently seeking a Business Intelligence (BI) Developer to help provide detailed, accurate and timely in-depth business data analysis, as well as ad-hoc report development utilizing multiple databases and tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Excel and SQL. As a BI developer, you are expected to understand the analytics workflow from requirement gathering, to data collection, to report development and visualizations. By creating a more data-driven approach to business, the BI developer will enable smarter, faster decisions allowing the business to grow and adapt to an ever-changing global environment. In this role, you are expected to be an independent, self-driven individual who can drive tasks and projects to completion. The job requires an experienced professional who can partner with all levels of the organization to gather business requirements and proactively identify and resolve issues. Essential Functions Design, develop and test moderate to complex reports and dashboards using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or QuickSight Leverage our data platform and apply predictive analysis to provide data-driven insights into our customers, products, and services Translate data trends into strategic recommendations for program development and action plans Contribute to the definition and development of the overall reporting roadmap Integrate dashboards and reports from a variety of sources, assuring that they adhere to data quality, usability, and business rule standards Standardize reporting to help generate efficiencies, optimization, and end user standards Using data mining and quality monitoring to extract information, identify and interpret trends and patterns from datasets to inform business and operational decisions Develop forecasts based on business data, market research, and industry benchmarking Mentor less experienced team members and identifies training needs and initiates education to address skill and knowledge gaps Job Requirements Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Finance, Business, Information Systems, or quantitative analysis-related field 2-4 years of experience designing and developing dashboards and reporting metrics using business intelligence software like Tableau, Power BI, QuickSight, etc. Excellent verbal and written communication skills – this role is heavily collaborative and often engages with stakeholders to gather and groom requirements Write queries using SQL to extract and manipulate data to achieve desired results using select statements, sub-queries, functions, links of multiple tables, scripting, etc. Expert knowledge of extractions, transformations, loading (ETL), data modeling and online analytical processing (OLAP) Strong Excel experience (pivot tables, look-ups, advanced formulas, regressions, etc.) Healthcare industry experience is a must Familiarity with financial analysis preferred In compliance with Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act we are disclosing the compensation range for roles that will be or could be performed in Colorado. If the position applied to is not located in Colorado, the following information may not apply. Salary Range: Minimum: $72,426 Salary Maximum:$94,153. Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level.
