Qualification : Bachelor in Technology or Equivalent
Skillset :
- 10+ years of experience in IT organization
- Experience in Retail is a must
- Point of Sale experience is needed , preferred is WinDss
- Experience in managing Support team
- Experience in working with cross line of business teams, external Service Providers and Partner Organizations
- Strong background in systems integration, EDI and middleware
- Excellent interpersonal, problem management, communication skills
- Able to multi task in a high pace environment, takes Ownership and solutions oriented
- Team player and able to work effectively across multiple teams
- Data-driven, able to absorb and use analytic information to make decisions
Responsibilities:
- Managing L3/L4 application support SLAs including reliability, availability, performance etc. of DTC application platforms
- Maintains knowledge of technology landscape for all supported applications
- Manages deployment of application code through standard change process
- Coordinates application release management activities and ensures appropriate approvals through Change Control Board
- Application change quality reviews and assessment - Owns testing of any changes before moving them to production to ensure high-quality implementation and knowledge transition to support
- Owns and drives resolution of production incidents working closely with SMEs and external partners
- Ensure that outages are tracked, root causes determined and documented appropriately
- Ensures operations training documentation is current and readily available
- Vendor management for 3rdparty applications
- Manage minor application releases to keep application platform version current in conjunction with cross functional stakeholders across business and IT
- Plan and manage systems availability and support during peak business seasons
- Manages 3rd party IT partner contracts, relationships, and performance
